The projector is a type of sealed beam that you insert the bulb into, be it a halogen or an HID.

hid and halogen are the type of lights. hid stands for high intensity discharge. this requires ballasts and such to mount to your car, but the light output is amazing, runs at a much lower wattage. and lasts a long time. halogen, is the regular type of bulbs, that the factory puts in your car. the yellow collor in regular bulbs, indicates halogen bulb. projector is the type of headlight that umm, concentrates the light more i guess. i dunno how to explain it. if you've ever seen aftermarket projector headlights, this is just the type of headlight. most stock headlights use reflector type. hope that helps.
