HELP, object found in oil pan
ok so i have a built b16 turbo and i have had no problems out of it runs fine, just leaks a little oil out of the return bung on the oil pan, so today i drop the oil, and oil pan and i find this in my oil pan

I Have wisco Pistons in my B18c 81.5mm and my piston skirt hit my oil injectors(or whatever there called) and I had to bend mine out of there way? Did you have same problem???
If your running wiseco's urgoing ot have to remove the oil squirters. you will keep breaking them the piston skirts are hitting those and breaking them off. check with golden eagle they have oil squiter plugs t oreplace them, and since you are running after market pistons.

thanks. yes we do carry oil squirter block offs and they can be ordered on our online store and will fix this problem. you do not need oil squirters with aftermarket pistons and removing them will increase your oil pressure

I see the problem is resolved, though I would like to add that it is possible to keep the squirters; at least with the b16. I bent my all out of the way then redirected the tip at the wristpin. 30,000 miles @400whp before it was stolen.

****, i once found 2 squirter necks in the pan on a stock motor. I put in all new ones and the motor was good to go (dropped pan and checked squirters after 30k miles, still intact nothing broken) . What would cause them to break on a bone stock motor?

talked to the tuner he said its probably pre-detonation that i might be able to fix just by moving the distributor till i can get it to him, so hopefully.....
