sounds like the "mechanic" he get his answers from probably is just another kid that does work on cars. I mean if he was a real mechanic he wouldnt be making these statements.
As for the oil light coming on, it only comes on if you lose pressure below a certain limit. It might come on if theres low oil level and the pump sucks in air, however you might not even see it.

This is absurd. You bought the car. You got to test drive and you paid for the car as is. If something happened to it after you bought it sorry about your luck and leave the dealer alone.

do you realize compression test numbers will differ based on the actual tester being used, elevation, how many times you crank the engine, how the actual test is performed? how many times do people have to tell you as long as the numbers are within 10psi of each other they're ok?

you are one ignorant SOB

so i guess your boy with the gsr is gonna need a rebuild too. 220 is not 260
like you say it should be. was it 220 across the board?

I don't know how many times you have to read 190 190 210 210 are ok

Its the percent difference that is used to determine if the motor is good or not!

You are on a public forum, crackhead...

If you don't want comments, then take it back to the Myspace and IM bullsh*t...

Someone please close this thread or move it!

This has become a personal beef peppered with buyer's remorse; I don't see the "tech" apparent anywhere...
