Default GReddy oil filter block adaptor..anyone using this???

i saw this on a UK site and thought it was a good idea, as i want to install an oil pressure and oil temp gauge, this allows it to be done very easily. Has anyone installed one of these and/or had any problems with them?

Greddy Oil Filter Block Adapter
Greddy Oil Filter Block Adapter provides an easy way to install oil pressure and oil temperature gauge sensors. This adapter is made from billet aluminum and is simple to install. The block adapter fits between the oil filter and engine block.
Price: £80.00 (plus postage) approx $120

That's pretty nifty. I just might get it and install it while I have the engine out.

I'd wanna know if I could use the same sized oil filters tho. I'll look into.

I thought that was just for the SR20 motors, but if they make them for honda's then that would be worth the money.

They make it for the Honda's. Only problem is they are tapped to fit only the Greddy gauges which are rather pricey

Any idea on where to order one of those from? They're not listed on the http://www.greddy.com site. I guess I'll try calling Mike or Leo to see.

Why?

$23.39...PRM-186 perma-cool sandwich adapter from Summit Racing. Used for oil coolers, but you can use any adapter/line size you want if you really want to use it for gauges or whatever.

thats not a problem just but the sunpro metric adapter kit ($8) and you use the 1/8 bsp to 1/8 npt adapter and you can call it a day.
