Default Look what I just found

Oil Filter Block Adapter

GReddy Oil Filter Block adapters provide an easy way to install oil pressure and oil temperature gauge sensors. Made from billet Aluminum and simple to install this adapter goes between the oil filter and engine block.

(use of 1985-87 Toyota Corolla GTS Oil filter required)

If u buy this u can run a oil pressure guage/oil temperature guage with out taping into the oil pressure sending unit. This would mostly benefit those who are running Ls/Vtec turbos.

I think that's because it's a widely used filter, so you can always find one for cheap. Would you rather have a super-expensive proprietary one from Greddy?

I've thought about getting a relocation kit and/or cooler if I was going to do this at all...

i checked places online and this, plus greddy's site, are the only sites that sell the adapter for under 100 bucks.

http://www.nipponpower.com/engine/bl...ckadapter.html

does anybody have experience with this? i have an oil temp gauge that hasnt been installed yet because im too much of a wussy to tap my oil pan.

We installed that on my freinds Xerxes car about 3 months ago for his oil pressure guage. The stock honda filters can fit on them perfectly also easy install.

Robert/Richard @ Nippon Power
Best customer service, FYI, they may know a bit more about it if Greddy's site doesnt say anything.

why not just buy the relocation kit from summit for $30,i heard that these greddy sandwich adaptors are resticting.with the relocation kit you can mount the huge filter up front and use it as a cooler all by itself, worked great on my car,i mounted the filter right in front of the driver side vent in the bumper.im getting a oil temp gauge soon to see what the actaull results are.

But you'll have to take it off to get the before and after results...
