Fuel pump problems!!!!
Hey guys I'm having a problem with my fuel pump. The pump is not getting power thus my car is not turning on. I recently swapped a b18c type r
with a far tranny I got myself a rywire harness and everything is good. The motor cranks but it won't start. Whenever I got to turn the key my pump doesn't prime. I already check the main relay I actually replaced it with a new the old one for some reason had water in it, I got one from autozone and I checked all my fuses and they're all good. Now if I run a wire from the pump to the battery the pump does kick in and I was able to start the car.... So I really don't know what could be the problem... By the way the car is 93 CIVIC DX HATCHBACK. If you guys can shed some light that would be great. Thanks!!!

There are like 6 pigtail wires on your new Harness. The Green/Blue wire needs to be spliced in to your old Cabin harness at pin A7(Fuel Pump)

Also look at this thread from a few days ago...

In the first two pictures, those are the wires we're talking about.
The Green/Blue wire in that bunch needs to be wired to your old ecu plug at location A7.

I did that I even email rywire yet I still got nothing. The only other thing that I think it could be would be my computer which I doubt it could since I also bought from rywire them self. But I'll try using my stock ecu and see what happens. Got any idea what also could it be?

Nah I'm still working on it. I have a ground wire there. Now that you mention that... I do have a ground cable there. The rywire harness came with a ground wire and I connected there. I have another ground coming from the tranny to the car. Am I missing another ground? I've pretty much checked everything else. All my wiring, fuses, and relay are all good. I mean the car was running perfectly before the swap so I just don't know.

I just got a new coil and rotor and the car was running fine before the swap. Now I have another question. When I jump the relay and try to start the car, the car cranks but my fans won't turn on. The person who had the before had the fans running the whole time. If I take off the ground the goes from the tranny to the chassi the fans do turn on but the car won't crank... I'm starting to think that my problem has to do with my grounds wires, so far I have three. The batter one, I have one going to my chasi to the tranny and the ground that came with my rywire harness that I hooked up on the thermostat housing. Are my grounds good? Am I missing another ground or what? I checked and tested just about everything. New battery, new main relay, all fuses are good, everything is hooked up probably as far has my harness and all that.
Ok. I'll do that. Any idea why my fan won't turn on with my tranny ground wire is on? Where's the pump's ground? Doesn't it all go to the relay? Another thing just to be thuro my harness has a knock sensor plug but my engine is jdm so it doesn't have a
Knock sensor, would that Prevet the car from starting? I do have a chipped ecu from rywire as well.
