Help with RyWire Milspec Harness
So I got most of my new harness installed, but there are a few wires left over on the inside of the car, and I have no idea where they are supposed to go. Maybe the fusebox? I didn't get any instructions with the harness, and they are closed for the weekend. Can anyone shed any light on the situation? Thanks

I also have a similar problem, where do these wires go?
I did contact rywire and they just emailed me this.

What I don't understand is, the instructions says "These wires are meant to be tapped into the wires on your stock OBD1 ECU plugs" But I thought the mil-spec harness replaces that?
So do I tap those wires into my stock plug or the milspec one. If thats the case I figured rywire would have done that.

I don't have any Rwire stuff, However I have built my own harness from scratch.
I would imagine that the harness's are designed to be plug and play to a point. However a lot of OBD1 wires off the engine go to dash components/+12/Ignition and various other locations such as Voltage backup, so not all of them go to the ecu. Some wires come off the engine and go right to dash components, some go to the ecu and to the dash such as VSS.
I believe they sell products to people who know what they are for and how to use the harness, and cant be bothered teaching people how to use a volt meter and a slight bit of rtfm you know?
Either way I don't see any problem you have documentation.....

Thanks for your help, problem fixed. Just got an email from Rywire.
This harness replaces your ENGINE harness, not the interior harness.
You need to tap these wires into your stock OBD1 ECU plugs which won't be plugged into a computer, but they should still be inside your vehicle.
By tapping these wires in, you're getting functionality from the engine, to your dash, like the VSS, fuel pump relay, etc..

Hey guys. I'm currently going through the same thing at the moment. I have those 6 or so loose wire. Now as far as I understand. Those wire need to be tap into the the car's actual harness. So my question is where exactly did you tap them? Do I have to follow my shock tower wires? Any advice would be appreciated thanks guys
The wires coming off the Rywire pigtail can be soldered or tapped into the wires that are connected to your old ecu plugs. Use the diagram above to figure out what goes where.
