Default AN fitting questions

Hey peeps.
On the flare to npt adapters do I need crush washers on the npt side to stop leaks or will thread sealant be sufficient?
Thanks

Doesn't matter what it's going to; NPT threads do not use o-rings or washers to seal. Pipe threads seal on themselves. Use a good thread compound and don't over-tighten (crack).

And on the flare to accessory connections do i need crush washers? Like on the flare to fuel rail or flare to turbo oil passage?
