Best way to seal oil lines??
What is the best way to seal oil lines and adapters? Should i use some teflon tape on all the threads of everything?? Such as the adapter to the block from the oil pressure sensor?? I just want to make sure i have no leaks. Also-- On my -10AN line for the return line, how should i seal that?? The adapters i think are 1/2" Should i use Teflon tape as well??

Ive heard of people using that. I know this doesnt realate as much but on my paintball gun I used to ahve I had teflon tape on all the hoes and never had any leaks at all. I will be using the teflon tape on my lines this summer so they better hehe.

For pipe threads you can use teflon tape, or a paste that's a designed pipe sealant (ask at any hardware store they'll have it). I've heard it's better to use the paste than the teflon tape due to the tapes ability to shred and get into the oil. For AN fittings, DO NOT use any type of sealant. They seal because of the taper on the fittings NOT because of the threads. Adding something to seal it can only do harm.

i prefer the teflon paste. if ur careful and patient u can get it a nice perfect seal that's really neat, otherwise u'll just get a stringy mess all over ur hands and fittings

Use this for all your NPT and BSPT fittings:

Use NOTHING on any of your -AN fittings.
