well im gettin a d15b, but dont know which 1 to get. the one with dual vtec or the 130hp version? which 1 is better ppl? dont tell me to get a b, h, k series.
Even though i probably will make many enemies, i wouldn't get a vtec, even though you get **** lots of performance parts, i just think it's overrated these days .
I'd get a D16 motor, and do the normal tune up and you'll have a good and affordable engine.

why do ppl not answer the question that is at hand. I dont want to hear about other motors. just the 1s that are stated in the forum. plus non vtecs' have less power.
Do some research, compare how much torque each engine has. You will notice there is not a whole lot of difference between them. Torque is a better measurement of power.
Answer:
I say non vtec and spend the money you saved on bolt ons.
