ek9 cold start problem

Default ek9 cold start problem

Hi guys
i've got a m8 who owns a 98 CTR and recently he has had a skunk2 i/m fitted
since fitting he has never been able to get the car to idle when cold it just cuts out
it idles fine when warm
i took it to where i work which is a honda dealer and got the most expierienced technician to have a look but he cant tell me whats wrong
iacv has been checked
new tb gasket
new i/m gasket new iacv seal

no air leaks that we know of

anybody have any ideas or had similar probs

well since the guy is an "experienced" technician, ide expect that hed check that first, dotn you?

I've noticed a recent trend in dealership service departments: They don't hire technicians anymore, they just hire parts changers.
