EFI PMS piggyback any good?
i used one for a while on my NA as well as JRSC ITR. it is totally plug and play, installatyion was literally 30 seconds, as u just install their harness adapter and plug the cables back in. programmins is SUPER easy via the handheld remote. they also offer very nice windows software for even mroe resolution. it's really nice as it is on-the-fly tuning, so that an idle adjustment is simply starting the car and some button presses away. you get immediate results. i ended up going to hondata for my own reasons (i had a very hard time finding a good place for the PMS interface box as the car has amps under both seats, so space was at a premium, and i got a GREAT deal on the hondata). it controls any injectors, reads boost, and is completely sublime in operation and adjustment. i really liked it, and dave (at EFI Systems) is great also in terms of email support. if you wanna stay OBDII and get great support and have an easy to tune unit, the PMS is fantastic!
cool im starting to like the EFI piggyback already. is there any disadvantages over the hondata. like more rpm points to adjust. say for example 1k, 2k, 3, etc. as the other would be 1k, 1.5k, 2k, 2.5k. do you follow me? sorry i dont know the exact terms to use to describe that. thanks
One of my good friends, Marc, has that system on his EK with B18C1/JRSC. He's been having alot of problems with the car ever since the installation. Random misfires that we can not track down. The system itself looks a tad bit pricey compared to a hondata unit that can do the same and even more.
hmm i dont know its 1 to 1. the EFI pms would be for my NA b17a, so hopefully i wont have any probs. and price wise the guy is selling for $250 with everything so i think thats a pretty damn good deal.

But think about what you have to consider: Is a good deal now going to be worth possible engine problems down the road?

see i dont know for sure if the EFI is going to give me problems ive only heard of 2 expierences both with people with SC and their replies are totally different. yah im leaning towards buying it because its cheap and i can tune my engine but if get some more negative responses then of course i wouldnt want to buy it. just because one guy has a problem with it does not mean it is bad. it could have been of been an X factor or something. ill wait prob a week to make my final decesion
