ECU questions??
I have an 98 Civic EX is worth it to get one of those ecu jumpers and convert it from an obd-II to an obd-I. Im a little confused on if I should do this and put a rechipped obd-I ecu in my car or save a little money and get the obd-II rechipped. I have found a few places that can do it now but it is a one time only thing no more rechipping after the first time. I have a different cam, and some other work done and I know that the factory rev limit should probably be taken out. What should I do.
actually i was wondering the same thing as u, i know g-force can chip the obd2 ecu's now. i was thinking of having my rev limit removed and than using a super afc or field fuel controller to fine tune the map.

Actually there are lots of places that chip OBD2 ecus. Its just the cost that turns those away to OBD1 (You could find a Mugen copy OBD1 chip for $50).
IMO-it is better to chip the OBD2 ecu, (Its like comparing your desktop computer, Would you want to reprogram your older, slower pentium 2 or your faster processing pentium 4?)
