Default obd1 ecu question??

Does the p28 ecu in the obd1 equiped civic ex's have a speed limiter. I know mine does but it is a 98 civic ex stops at 120 mph. Im thinking of getting one of those jumpers and putting a rechipped obd1 ecu in my 98. Is that worth it or shouold I just get the obd2 ecu rechipped.

go OBDI for sure, less headaches and troubles with modifications, affecting the ecu.....also might be even cheaper....also by changing just to stock p28 obdi you might gain few ponies 3-5hps, from what i heard....

It is deffinetly not cheaper 250.00 for the ecu jumper 150.00 for the ecu 150.00+ to have the ecu rechipped. I can get the stock obd2 rechipped for 400.00 and that is timing curve changed, fuel curve changed, rpm increase, speed limiter removed, etc.
