i can help you out.......what ecu were you planning on chipping. If you want to chip a p72, p30, p61, p28, etc. obd1 vtec ecu's.....its easy. You can purchase a chip off of me and solder it in your ecu yourself or have me solder the program chip, etc. If you want more info, PM me back. obd2 ecu's arent even worth chipping! LOL
thanks

yeah..there are program chips for the ls ecu as well. I think the programs will just make you run a little more richer, have more agressive fuel maps and have a higher rev limiter. But seriously, i recommend building up your motor first then doing the ecu.
how about chipping vs VAFC? They both change the fuel map, and a chip can mess with the rev limiter, but is that it? How do you tune the fuel map? Is it worth it to buy one of those cheap chips on ebay? Are they cheap just cause you gotta solder them yourself? I dont quite get chips.
