Hi guys I recently swapped out my d16y7 for a d16z6, I'm running the standard y7 engine loom with the injector plugs changed, 2wire IACV, dizzy jumper harness and p28 ecu with jumper harness, now to the problem.
I fitted a new battery last week in preparation to start the engine, switch ignition on (dash lights on, imo light on for 2secs then off) but no crank, checked the starter and have 12v at main wire, this is where it gets weird I have 12v across all my engine and gearbox (checking with power probe) and also my injector plug pins have 12v showing at each side even when unplugged (with power probe again) if I disconnect the small earth lead form the power steering pump to the earth point at o/s headlight area I get 12v at the engine side and earth across the chassis, if I earth this wire with my power probe the engine all goes back to negative and the starter clicks when on crank but the immoboliser light flashes

Hi bud thanks but I manage to find the problem last night, main earth strap from gearbox to chassis leg at o/s was corroded badly and couldn't see due to the insulation, ran a new earth lead and started first time 😃 Can start my turbo setup now
