Compression tester solutions
Doing a search for compression tester ont eh site, you see a bunch of threads where ppl have gottent some portion of the tester stuck in the head.
Either they have an intermediary adapter fitting that comes unscrewed from the hose. Or in my case, there was a a swivel fitting, it was tight when screwing it in, but screwing it out, it just spun.
The solution for this is usually to hammer a long thin screwdriver into the fitting trapped int he block, and turn it out. Or if it is threaded, loctite the piece that is free, and thread it into the part seized in the block, wait and unscrew it.
What is a better solution?
If there was a compression tester with a single solid piece that went the 4-5inches into the spark plug hole, that could be wrenched from outside the hole, problem solved.
Anyone else have solutions, or tips and tricks?
