Default Compression is killing me!

I thought I knew something about compression and engines but now I'm pulling my hair out.

#1/265
#2/190
#3/170
#4/185

B16A all stock

what would cause #1 to be so much higher than the rest? someone please school me on this!!!

BTW: I was driving about 65 down the interstate when the engine just shut off and I blew the FI E/M fuse under the hood.
now I can not start the motor at all (after replacing the fuse)
It will turn over but will not start until I go to WOT then it starts but back fires like a mother ****** then dies as soon as I let off the gas pedal.

NOTE: I have spark, fuel pressure and some compression(look at the numbers above). measured the resistents on all injectors(in spec), changed out ecu(still nothing)....all sensors(map, tps, iat, coolant) all have spec readings.

please help me I am lost!!!!!!!!!!!!

recheck the number 1 cylinder, u did something wrong, i don't think a starting motor has enough power to create 265psi in a cylinder.

check the alignment and condition of your timing belt. Did it jump a tooth?

A stock B16a shouldn't have 265 PSI...that's a bit overzealous, there

Check your clearances, check to see if any oil/coolant is being burned or mixed, and then do a leakdown test to see where you are losing your compression.
