Car: 1993 Honda Civic Dx from Canada
Motor: D16z6 P29 Build 12:1 Compression Tuned on crome
Problem: From a second gear pull reving to 7300 Rpms then shifting into third it will be fine pull for a little then at 6200 it will pop up the a CEL code 20 and disable v-tec. We have replaced the fusebox twice, altinator twice and swapped batterys... The ELD is disabled in crome and we have tried mutiple burns of the chip.. voltage drop test would work. .i mean technically y would it be the battery at that hi of an rpm cuz it.s basically a voltage stabilizer at that point. .i mean a ground could be loose. .nething. .jus weird it doesnt do it when u rev thru second but does it at a lower rpm n 3rd.

run ur positve lead on ur voltmeter to the batt+ n ur negative lead to the load device. .u will then get a reading. .then test afta the load device to make sure the device is taking all available power.
oh you mean under the fuse box... Ive done those tests and they all came back within spec... is there some way i can perform this test while driving? to see if something happens
no no it.s diff as n load devices (ie. ur alternator). .n i spaces this was happening at higher speeds n rpms. .i think it.s due to the vibration. .u need to shake some **** n ur bay n see if u can find sompthin loose. .fuuuck i hate tryin to help ova a forum. .lol. .i wish u lived down the street. .lol.
