Actually i did, thats why i dont understand it throwing a vtec code

there was probably hardware added to the board for vtec. the software is not going to bypass this. remove the hardware components from the system board and it will fix the problem

It didnt throw a code util i chipped it.

why not try making another program and disabling the vtec again to see if it was a bug in that particular bin file. What software are you using to burn the chip and what chip burner are you using?
