B18C girdle?
I know there is some difference Between the B16A and the B18C besides the stroke. I understand the B18C uses a different oil pan and pick up due to some kind of girble on the bottom end. Just windered what this was exactly, and how come the famous B16 doesn't have it?
The B18C has a gridle that ties the three center mains together, I don't know why the B16A doesn't come with it? I guess that the guys a Honda didn't think it needed it. I beleive that the B16B has one though.
B16's dont have a griddle, cause they dont need them, the b16 r/s ratio is a lot better than the b18c (1.58 to 1.74), so the the loads on the crankshaft are a lot less on the b16.
