Default B18B-Turbo Engine Build

Hey i just got done with my turbo setup on my 99 ls integra. So far i have about 250hp and i have a t3/t4 50 trim turbo. Now the thing i was wondering is what i should do to build my engine up to handle about 350hp....Is sleeving a good idea? and also what is the best way to make it still a daily driver that can pack a punch?

thanks

what's the entire setup? knowing that will better determine what you should do next.

if you want 300+ i would suggest building the bottom engine because the piston or piston rings wont last. Im at 16lbs but ill get to 20 soon

Get pistons, rods, maybe some bigger injectors i think 550cc will do the trick...I dont think you will need to sleeve the block with under 400hp.....but tune is key my friend...find a good tuner....

bigger turbo
pistons
rods
750cc or bigger injectors

that'll be good for 300-400whp with a good tune

whats up, i just recently bought this hatch and i got a nice 98 b18b1 bone stock. i was thinkin about ls vtech because its all wired and ready to go.. but after i read this other dudes thread talkin about runin a 12 sec 1/4 with stock internals on a turbo ls, i have just been thinkin about turbo. did you install the turbo your self, and i was just wondering about how much $$ you ended up spending on the parts.

yeh, the tuning is really important i agree, ive had a 12 sec bone stock LS Vtec, made decent power with a t3/t4 50 trim, with sleeving the block, it depends on what size piston you have, if ur at 81, 81.5 or 82mm it really doesnt need to be resleeved. i had a LS Vtec turbo set up that made 390hp with stock sleeves, all it had was arias 81mm turbo pistons and Eagle Rods. but i was boosting 18lbs. most people say stock sleeves can handle 25lbs with a stock bore. its up to u to decide on what you blieve. the more you go oversized, the more prone it is to cracking

my last set up was

Skunk2 IM
81mm Arias Pistons
Eagle H Beam Rods
B16 Head (STOCK)
GSR cams
Tial 38mm
OBX Ram Horn
T3/T4 57 Trim

but the safe way to go with this all this will be to sleeve the block and put pistons and rods in correct.....this way i can boost

stock sleeves are fine up to 500whp. some people have made more. but for a street car dont even worry. rods and pistons and fuel system would be a good idea if you want to make 350-400whp reliably.
