Default B16 won't start

i've got a B16 in my 94 del sol. I just got her bolted in and everything from what I can tell is correct. when I crank her over she doesn't sound like she's even trying to start until i give her a bit of gas at which point she'll run with the starter at like 300 rpms but the second i let off on the key she'll stop. I checked the TPS sensor and she's fine. she reads .48 volts closed at 4.98 volts WOT. I thought maybe the dizzy was 180 degrees out of time but it's not. I've got a MSD SCI with a blaster SS coil for an ignition system. 190 lph walbro fuel pump with 354 2ohm MSD injectors....Any thoughts at all here? Thank you.

i've checked every cylinder and I'm getting spark on all cylinders. I know i'm getting fuel b/c i took the plugs out and it shot plenty of fuel out the plug holes. i know i have good compression even though she's brand new she has between 190 and 210 psi on all cylinders. She has sat for a while....do you think it could just be shitty gas? I'll try bypassing the msd though...make it simple

when you turn your car on does the check engine light light up bright?
i would check ALL your grounds, we did a swap last weekend and the ground near the thermostat was preventing the car from starting. we steel wooled the pain off the block and it started right up.

hope that helps

I did consider it might being a ground problem especially b/c I relocated my battery to the trunk. I threw a nice 4awg ground on and it didn't fix anything...but after you said that you've had a ground problem before I think i might throw some more on there. You can never been grounded too well. I did check the ground on the water inlet and it seems to be ground just fine to the water inlet. i'll put an 8awg ground going from there to underneith the engine bay rails....see what happens....the reason i thougt it could be fuel was that the car has been sitting for over 6 months....i've tried to start it before about a month or so ago and ran into some head problems wich delayed me. at that point I had put another 4 gallons in so i figure over a months period the two batches of petro decided to mix and become shitty. If anyone has any better ideas please let me know. Thanks!
