It cranks, but won''t spark.
There total NOOB here (just to throw that out there) I have a 1998 Civic with a b18b1 motor in it. There car ran when I got it but now won't start. The car crank's fine but won't spark or roll over. The fuel pump is fine, you can hear it prime and I have fuel pressure. Checked all fuses, nothing there. Compression test was fine. It does have a MSD ignition in it and i'm thinking this could be the problem but not for sure, has anyone ever had any major problems out of them. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

First off, lol. Simple as that.
As far as the not starting goes, check your dizzy cap and button. If there's a bunch of corrosion, replace them. If not that, take the MSD crap out. No need for that on a stock engine. If that doesn't do it, I'd say get a new dizzy.

Like they said^^ but if it isnt your cap and rotor then it could be an ignition module, this is a common problem with hondas. First check your cap and rotor, clean it with a file then but back together. If this doesn't solve the issue, you will need a new dizzy.. any questions feel free to pm me.

i agree with the above. Also the cam shaft seal may be leaking into the cap. It happened to me a while back. As far as fixing it, all the above posts seem accurate.
