B16 turbo not starting
Basically I had it running using the stock ecu and neo, msd, avcr2 controller but sent it off to synapse to have it base mapped on neptune and now it wont start just put on new dizzy since my other one was using the msd and that doesnt work well with neptune (from what I am told by synapse) It will crank and start the first time but seems to be getting flooded so it wont hold the idle then I try to crank again and it will just crank I have the right firing order 1-3-4-2... I have an aem fpr fuel rail and walbro 255 pump and 440cc precisions.....neo was removed and switched dizzy but other than that nothing was touched... any other suggestions?

Re: B16 turbo not starting
If your getting fuel and spark then you could have a timing issue or its just to rich and wont idle.
Crank the dizzy all the way to the fire wall and see if it starts. Dont drive it. from there sync the distributor timing like you would stock.
if that doesnt get you running then you need to get it to a tuner but before you do so. remove the j1 jumper in the ecu and put stock injectors back in to be sure it runs.

Re: B16 turbo not starting
I got you all the way until J1 jumper...??? I called synapse and they said it is a 30 sec delay so I should start it and only hold 2k rpm for 30 secs then the ecu should set itself and it should idle fine but might need new plugs since it flooded out so many times...thanks for the info...

Re: B16 turbo not starting
Well its running.....switched the plugs to ngk single platinum...new ones.guess all the tries to start when it was running rich really destroyed the other new plugs.... and it cranked on first try but it idles high so adjusted the dizzy full retard ("never go full retard" lol) anyways its running and idling at 2k rpm steady....hopefully get to synapse soon so they can tune it properly...thanks again guys..
