b16 and b18 what is the difference

Icon3 b16 and b18 what is the difference

hey guys im a newbe here I am just wondering if there is an difference between the b16 and the b18 motor I want to use all the parts from the b18 on the b16 crank conrods ect please help

Pretty much a completely different bottom end. Different stroke,rod length,deck height, pistons,rods,etc.

Might try posting this in the tech/misc section. This forum is more for engine management system stuff.

So you want to destroke the b18 into a b16?
Are you referring to a b18a or b18c?

no I don't want to destroke the motor but someone striped the treads in the b18b4 block for the top blots so now I got a b16a6 block hoping to rebuild everything I think in just going to build the b16a motor with the b18b top non vtec and im thinking I will try spitronics management
