I would definetly take the B18. I own both b18 and b16 and I LOVE my b18 much more then my b16.

the b16 is an amazing motor, i would go with it. beats the hell out of the b18
its stronger and it has a better bore to stroke ratio

its the stock HF block, i just want it out of my yard.
most your opinions say NOTHING about it being a TURBO motor. the just say it revs higher etc. anyway im leaning towards the B18A/B or if i can get the money a B20B/Z...

The b18 will hold more boost with stock internals. The compression of the b16a in stock form limits the amount of boost it can hold. In my opinion I would buy the motor that is cheaper and then build it accordingly.

well the b16 might have more hp then the 18 but it moves less air and it revs very high with the help of vtec in a way to aquire more hp from its low torque line. I would go with a B18b because it flows allot more air to move that turbo. It might not rev high but who cares when you have a nice torque line = ). plus the b18 has lower compression perfect for boost and the rods are monsters for a honda.

b16s still have an awesome torque line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
