Default Auto meter oil guage install

I need to know what size of the fittings are for the existing oil pressure switch. How much steel braided line i need, and what the fittings and such i need. Its a sport-comp electrical guage. Thanks for the help.

need to know also...and will a oil pressure gauge tell you if you're running low on oil? less oil=lower oil pressure?

stock thread on the block is 1/8" BSPT. you can get e 1/8" BSPT -> 1/8" NPT adapter from autometer. make sure not to hang the sender off the block, as it will break off. run lone hose to the firewall and install a T fitting there. screw stock sender into T, screw autometer sender onto T, zip tie the T to the firewall. low oil pressure is indicative of an oil leak, bad pump and low oil. it's a great safety gauge to have!! p.s. the autometer sender needs to be grounded, make sure not to foget to do that.
