Default Anyone using a High Flow Cat

Has anyone passed smog in CA using a high flow cat?

I'm failing on my NOx emissions and I'm curious if this is because I'm using a high flow cat.

I just got a carsound 3" and am installing it with the rest of my exhaust system this week.. Gotta go to emissions soon so ill let you know how it turns out..

Im in Maryland so the emissions are different here but im guessing they will still show me the results..

Just curious.. If you fail emissions in CA 2 times can you buy stuff to prove that you tried to fix it or do they make you fix it regardless.. Here in MD if you fail emissions 2 times then you can submit reciepts totaling $450 and that will get you a 2 year waiver..

Did you have to show them that serial code that came with your carsound??? Just wondering because I read a post awhile back where someone showed this documentation as proof to pass some strict visual in their area

Ohhhh.....that would be heaven!

Here is CA, your f**ked.

Apparently, they are starting a program that will pay for repairs made to pass, but only if your car is bone stock.

i didnt have to show any numbers, but you might want to bring the reciept to prove that it is new and that it is, in fact, a carsound high flow cat. carsound cats are completely legal and CARB approved.
