Default Alignment question?

Hey i took my steelies off my car and put my 16's on with brand new rubber... i thought i might need an alignment but the car doesnt vibrate or pull in any way ? should i still take it down or will i be ok? the tires now have about 2000 kms on them and look to be wearing normally?

you need to align only if u change suspension bushings or dissasamble the suspension , not needed when changing rims or brakes..

If you want a quick feel good, pull astring from the back of the car across the rear tire then pull it tight and see if the distances to the string front and rear of front tire are the same on both sides. No this does take care of a bent rim or bulging tire sude wall but it will let you know if it is grossly off. The toe should be 0.0 -1 degree + 0.0 degrees. If any thing slightly toed in..
