Default .004 milled head and ITR pistons in ls/vtec??

There is this guy i know who just built a ls/vtec enging using a ls block and b16 head. He is running all motor and he had his head milled .004 and he also has usdm ITR pistons. What kind of compression do u think he will get out of this setup. Oh btw he is going to run pump gas. I give him about 1 week to blow it up but since i dont know that much about engine building i though i would ask u guys first to make sure my assumtions are correct.

Default Re: .004 milled head and ITR pistons in ls/vtec?? (ITR-862)

I think you mean .040. milled. I know that .0040 is nothing. i'm interested to still know because i get my LS/VTEC installed by the end of the week and I have my head milled .030 and my block decked .008 with USDM ITR pistons. i'm also runnig GSR cams and the c/r is approximately 11.9:1....

I poste dearlier ans someone repled with bumping my fuel pressure to around 50psi and dropping my timing down to 14 to be perfectly safe, but he also said i'll be fine at 17 deg timing so .. figure...
