Default What exhaust will work on my 94 VX with b16 swap

I got a JDM B16A swap in my 94 VX. I want to get a magnaflow exhaust but I dont know which to order. Are the pipings for the exhausts the same? Im worried that if I order the VX system that the piping won't line up right. Or if anyone suggests a different exhaust that lines up perfect, please post.

Buy a bolt-on system for the VX. Depending on what header/cat combo you use, it'll bolt right up.

no the vx exhaust is gonna be short because it has the cat on the header and theres no cat underneath the car . it will be short by like a foot . u need either a catback for a dx/si hatch or stock 92-95 ex or dx coupe pipping thats what im running.

Well I already have the swap in and the stock resonator pipe is bolted onto the B16 downpipe with these long *** bolts. I dont have any aftermarket headers. So I the 92-95 Si system should bolt on right onto the downpipe ok?

don't take my word on it. I worked on three cxs with stock exhausts. I was able to put on SI header, and after market header in place of cx header with a cat, and hook it up to the stock exhaust. Motor was d series off-course. So the application would be the same as for SI hatch (just got bigger piping, but length is the same, or really close to the same).

Yeah, you can bolt the b-pipe (resonator) onto the B16 a-pipe. You just won't have a cat, and that b-pipe is friggin tiny.

You need a cat and an exhaust from an SI. You don't need an aftermarket header. It's likely to be anywhere from 3/16th of an inch too long, to an inch too long. If it's the shorter, you can sorta get by with just stretching your exhaust hangers. If it's the longer, you'll have to shorten something, be it cat or b-pipe.

They don't make a VX exhaust. You'll need a dx/si exhuast and someone to make a testpipe for the space where the cat "should" be or find a aftermarket or stock dx/si cat.

Will this work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33630

It comes with the magnaflow catalytic converter too.

They will send you a universal cat which means your going to spend another $150 to have a exhaust shop weld it up with flanges and mount the exhaust. If your going through that you might as well ditch the cat and buy a $75 bolt on test pipe and find any exhaust you want for a 92-95 hatch.

best thing to do. go to a junk yard find a 92-95 hatch dx or si. take off the exhaust and the cat. and it will bolt up to a b-series swap. i was using 94 ex pipping on my 92 hatch with a highflow cat. but i just got all my pipping redone 2.25 with my highflow for 150 at mienke.

So I can just order any aftermarket exhaust for 92-95 Civic Si right? And it should fit up with my B16A....

This is what I said above...
