how much to do ls/vtec
Ok Let me break it down for you as I just had my ls/vtec done. These prices are to have it done RIGHT realistically. 600-800 for head complete. (IM,TB,Dist. and Internals) included. But then you need the smaller items ... like the oil feed line, ecu, timing belt, head gasket, water pump, oil pump etc. And If you want it run well so you can feel the power get either a b16 or a GSR tranny. Labor fee's start around 1200$ to have it done at a well known shop. But any required machining just adds onto that (resurfacing, valve job etc.). I thought it would be a easy 1-2-3 processs. But I would up paying 2500$ for *evereything* but I can say its worth it!!

this is probably the best basic price out there. if you get into replacing internals liked cams, headwork, pistons etc the price just keeps on going up
