ls vtec questions...
im bout to do me a ls vtec set-up and got afew questions...im using a b16 head w/ a ls bottom and was wondering which head gasket,headstuds,and timing belt to use..i was told to use the headgasket,headstuds,timing belt,water pump of which head im gonna be using...so i just wanna see if that is true or not...
ls head gasket, ebay dowl pins for the ls/vtec swap ($10), gsr head studs, get a gsr water pump, timing belt and oil pump.
I built one mysef and its still runnning strong. Any questions, search than ask.

You don't have to use any different dowl pins, just drill out the head bolt holes in the correct place to accept the original dowls, also be sure to plug the oil passage in the head. You don't "have" to change your oil pup either, but it help with the high RPM's. and just be sure to match the belt with the waterpump.
