I Must Be Stupid!!! Please help. How to wire VTEC????
OK, I have read more threads than I can count about how to wire up VTEC, but it isn't making any sense. I am done w/ my D15B VTEC swap, except for hooking up my P28 & running VTEC wires. I found the correct pins on the ECU harness, and I know where the VTEC solenoid is, but where do the oil pressure wires go?
94 DX hatch w/ D15B VTEC.
PLEASE help, I'm retarded!!!!

I already have a P28. I need to know where the wires go from teh ECU harness to the engine bay. I don't see an oil pressure sensor, so I have know idea WTF to do? I already have the wires in the ECU harness but have no clue where they go......Pics are very helpful!!!

Is it right above the filter? 1 wire? I feel like a freakin moron & I'm starting to get really pissed off at this project. The motor runs fine except for this. URGH!!

I know where the solenoid wire is on the car, but I cannot find a blue/black OPS anywhere. The only thing I see is above the oild filter, it's one wire & it's yellow. So I have no clue where the correct place is to wire that? I apparently need a ground & the OPS.....where?

the brass cylinder is the actual VTEC solinoid. the green plug is where the wires go.
to answer your original questions... JDM VTEC does not use an Oil Pressure switch so you will not have the switch on your engine. wire the wire from the ECU to ground and your VTEC will work regardless of oil pressure.
the VTEC solinoid should be easy. one wire into the green plug below the VTEC solinoid.

so I just ground the wire that should be for the pressure switch, or should I run that wire to the same pin location as the solenoid? Thanks!!!
grounding the pressure wire on the chassis worked!!! Thanks a million, I was about to try to buy a pressure switch; you saved me some $$$.
I got an idea, you give me your car with title and I will fix V-tec for you and then do a fly by past you with V-tec SCREAMING!!!
