B18swap whoas in the new EG
Well I did a long search and found nothing quite on topic of my problem. I recently picked up a 94 DX Hatch with an LS swap and it ran fine on the 400 mile trip home. Well I deceided to take someone for a spin the other day since I hadn't driven it and randomly the car dies at a stop sign....so I cranked it back over and after 2/3 tries it started back up. Ok so hmmmm, it runs fine and I take it to work this morning because I wanted to see if I could figure it out and work is only 2 miles away from the house. Soo I come to a Y in the road and I yield and BAM the car dies again while moving, I pop the clutch in and let it out and it starts right back up
. Runs fine and on the way home I am approaching a stop sign and it does it again. Pop in the clutch once again in gear and it starts back up...Any ideas/hints I should be looking at? I almost want to think it's a vac. line issue somewhere that got messed up in the swap. Thanks in advance guys.

my dsm was doing this also. turned out it was the vaccum line that runs to the manifold. im not sure if it is the same in ur case, but id say look over ur manifold and inspect all lines. mine had worn a hole from the engine mounts going bad and torquing so much. good luck
check the main relay too, I had problems with my car hesitating and not able to restart. Just took it out and re soldered all the points, been fine since (this is a common honda problem). Its right near the hook release latch.

yea I have had relay problems in the past, I know this isn't an issue, thanks though. Shadyeh2 aka the man has given me a nice idea.

it could be your master cylinder causing a leak in vacuum or your brake booster(the vacuum line). if your brake pedal is low then i would lean toward the master and booster. but if not look at the vacuum line. my civic does the same **** but iknow its my master cylinder
Well Shawn (shadyeh2) told me to clean out my intake tract kinda like I clean out his **** tract but yea.....I cleaned it up and did an oil change and she hasn't died! w00t so far so good. Hopefully I can drive her to school tommorow and not kill anyone/anything.
My money is on operator error givin the low IQ. hehe
Try taking off the IACV. Spray it out with some carb cleaner (don't get it in the electrical part). Readjust the idle up to 800rpm or 1k. Plugs and wires wouldn't hurt either.
