Default b18a1 swap in eg hatch. help??

as simple as i can put this, cranks as soon as you bump the key and runs fine but when you put it in gear and ease of the clutch, it falls on its face. you have to release the clutch at about 3-4k rpm to go anywhere. anyone have any tips or ideas?

Simple isn't good. Give as much info as you can.

Did you do the swap? Might be too obvious of a question, but are you running the PR4 (90-91 B18A1) or the P74 (92-93) ecu? Does it drive fine after you get going?
