I tapped mine into A4 on the ecu (the VTEC wire on OBD1 cars) and ground it and it works great.

Ok that site ^ doesnt work?????hmmm well I found 2 sites here witch may help some people on here.....

http://www.clubcivicquebec.com....html

http://home.earthlink.net/~civ....html

Well i went out to my car and looked under the hood to check it out, I hooked the Green/Yellow wire to my L.E.D. Hit redline and still no Light from it, so thats not the "livewire:......

On one of the sites listed above they say its the White wire with the green line, the one single wire from the Vtec solenoid, you will see it if you look. Thats supposevly the "livewire" when you hit Vtec, so I am going to splice that one and wire it to that and let you all know how it goes. I hope it works, i tried everything so far, I hope my vtec isnt bad well we'll see.

Later guys

p.s. anyone know of any other helpful Vtec Light sites? Thanks

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Luserkid &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I tapped mine into A4 on the ecu (the VTEC wire on OBD1 cars) and ground it and it works great. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I am probably wrong but by tapping in at the ecu then how accurate can that be. what i mean is the signal goes from the ecu to the vtec solenoid. so just because your ecu says its on doesnt mean that the solenoid is accually working.
