__________OIL RETURN LINE PROBLEM, HELP?__________
Alrighty heres my problem..... I have an 89 civic hatch w/ b16 swap and im doing a junkyard turbo setup. I am using the very flamed SSautochrome manifold and a t3 turbo, my problem is that the oil outlet is coming down in front of my front cross member so if i try to get a path back to the oil pan the line will have to dip down then come back up over the cross member and then back down to the pan... This i believe is no good.... The only thing i can see doing is to cut the cross member and i really don't want to damage the structural integrity of that part.... I know someone out there has had this problem before, please help me out.... Thanks for your time
you will have to chop up your front cross member or find a different location on the pan to weld the bung in place.
Gravity is the only thing that drains the oil, so if your line goes up than you will sooner or later blow your oil seals due to improper drainage. Remember, when clocking you dont want anything larger than a 15 degree angle.

you can clock the turbo so the oil outlet is facing a different direction????? I did not know that.... I thought you could only clock the compressor housing????? Am i wrong?
