Default Oil return line problem

Why do I hear a lot of people complaining about this when they turbo their cars? Is it bad quality installation or what?

The line shouldn't have any kinks and it shouldn't dip below the mounting point on the oil pan. The drainage is based on gravity and anything requiring the oil to flow against gravity will cause problems.

Thats' one problem I can think of.
