Default Coolant issues!

My coolant bottle overflows when I boost a lot.. and usually cause my Temp guage to go up. I really dont like this.. I'm pretty sure everybody does. Does changing the radiator cap helps or removing the thremostats?

I know I remember seeing this topic before..can someone forward me to it.. THANKS!

Are coolant spitting out of the reservor and engine over heat while running high boost? I'm 99% sure you have a blown or leaky head gasket. The only way the fix that is to change your head gasket.

my reservoir goes up only after running 9lbs of continuos boost, then when i shutdown my engine and check it for a couple of hours ..it goes back to the height of coolant level. I'm not smoking out or any sort of burning coolant. I believe it has something to do with coolant pressure, especially under boost. When I run NA everything is OK.

You definitely have a leak headgasket, not being seal properly. What happens is when you run high boost the the pressure lift the head and coolant are being force back causing it to overflow and cant circulate...cause the engine to over heat. but when you let go and drive it normal (less pressure), the gasket will be ok and return to normal. Are you running an aftermarket head gasket?

that makes PERFECT sense (about lifting head up etc) as to how mine acted....

yes I do have a Greddy 2MM head gasket. Is there a solution for me here? If you have a bad Head Gasket..you would be loosing some coolant right? ever since I rebuilt my engine.. I never re-tight my head studs...Is it too late? Would a thicker gasket causes all this issue?

I'm having similar problems. One of a few things happened. Your head lifted, head gasket blew out, warped the head or warped the block. Chances are it's the head lifting or your head gasket died. If I were you, I'd try to retorque the head first, then do a leakdown test (force compressed air into each cylinder individually at TDC with the radiator cap off and look for bubbles). If you don't get bubbles, you're good to go. If you do get bubbles, you're assed out. Head has to come off then. Good luck.
