Possible blow head gasket?
I am not sure what the problem is so I am turning to the more experienced.
When I drive my car and boost on it (sohc vtec running 6 psi) I will open the hood after a run and my coolant overflow is almost full and my hoses are firm like they are pressureized.
And this is in a 1990 crx si with stock radiator and stock cap. I am clue less. And it kinda scares me.

smoke coming out the exhaust?
is the coolant milky? check the oil, is there coolant in it?
if not, it's most likely that your head is lifting during boost. replace headgasket and get arp headstuds

additional to what he said, check your coolant level once the car has been sitting for a while, like overnight.

look there first, try a new cap such as a higher pressure rated one (1.3 bar) or just a new stock one. make sure its not leaking coolant yada yada

Ok.. I have arp headstuds torqued down to 76lbs.
There is oil is not milky, and there is no oil in the coolant.
I will do a compression test tonight and see what that is pushing out.
edit: there is no white smoking comming out of the exhaust I forgot to say that

If there is no oil in coolant etc and you are not blowing white smoke, try the cap before you do a compression test.

I remember I had a blown headgasket in my old teg once and when I would boost it would overheat but then it would cool back down and I wasnt getting any smoke or anything BUT my cooling system was running in reverse. I guess the cylinder was highly presurrizing the cooling system making it run in reverse, really strange and took a while to figure out. Just remember to make sure engine is hot for commpression check I made this mistake once.
