coolant in overflow ONLY when i hit boost ??
i have done searches and all signs point to my HG
i pulled the plugs and check the cyclinders and #234 have carbon build up BUT #1 was clean
so coolant is getting into #1
my question is, are tehre any other coolant passages that can sneak into the #1 cyclinder other then the HG ??
if i stay out of boost my coolant level is pretty much normal
theres also no discoloration in my oil (from coolant) or in the coolant (from oil)
i have also re-tq'd my stock headbolts to 50lbs
current setup is d16y8, 450CC, k26 turbo, DSM BOV and custom FMIC
thanx in advance

i've had that happen before, a small crack in the head gasket. The problem with single cams is that the sleeves shift causing the head flexing, to fix that you have to sleeve the block.

What are your water temps running at?
Are you running straight water or water/p. glycol?
Otherwise its your headgasket.

currently running water and coolant, about 50/50 mix
my water temp only went up once for like 30 seconds and i pulled over right away
before i even made it to the side the temp went back down
popped the hood and the overflow was topped and the rad was almost empty
you guys think just slapping in some arps and tq'ing it down to 60lbs will work ?? if its a small crack that is
thanx for the quick reply guys

Re: (BlackCRX)
Don't worry, I think you would notice if your sleeved is cracked and leaking pressure into your coolant passageways.
You need the headstuds anyways. No turbo honda should run without them.
