Default Weird problem with EH

This just started happening today and can't figure out what wrong. My clock stays dim and resets everytime I turn off the car and the stereo is the same way. If it was a fuse wouldn't the clock not even come on or the stereo? Help!

If it was a grounding problem wouldn't the clock and stereo not even turn on? Why would it turn on but keep time and preset things on the stereo? Do the deck and stereo run off the same ground?

The deck is still on and you can change the stations and do whatever but no sound and the deck doesn't light up or hold memory and the same for the clock. Hell I can't even eject the cd from the deck. I was ready to rip out the deck driving home from work and throw it out the window and call it a day.

a bad gorund doesnt have to be not connected. it can be not fully connected and not let enoguh current through the wires.
