Default My setup

Well just got it running a couple days ago, this was my first time ever doing anything like this to my car so I was mainly concerned about getting it running and all the hose's are going to be replaced with IC pipeing next week and the intercooler is going to be a front mount in about two weeks. And I'm running 8 psi on a 14b mitsu turbo.

might want to do the IC piping after/when you do the FMIC

That intercooler really isn't doing much where you have it located. There is no cool air flowing throughit so how do you expect it to cool down your charge air???

And like the guy before me said, FMIC first, and then get pipes or you will be doing extra work for nothing.

i had mine there too, before i got the front mount, people say it doesn't do much, but it does.. it won't lower the air temps in the 80s like a FMIC, but its better then the 150s i was getting with no intercooler, i was getting about 125ish, air temps.. again way better then the 150+

well i did say that it wasn't going to do much, i din't say it wouldn't do anything.....But as you obviously agree, a FMIC will do alot more........

Is that a 88-91 Lude SI? It looks like it from the tilt of the engine. Pretty bad *** if it is.

yea I have a 91 prelude si with the b20a5 engine. It's hard to piece together a turbo kit because there is absoluteley nothing made for our cars. The manifold and downpipe are custom made.

thanks for the compliments everyone

actually pretty cheap.

14b turbo- $150
custom made manifold/downpipe $250
fast-turbo oil feed/return lines $119
side mount- free
dsm bov- free
IC pipeing - $50
safc- $210
450cc injectors- $50
a/f guage- $65
boost guage- $30

Just under 1k not too bad and this thing pulls on 8psi! I'm hopeing to get it to the dyno next week to see what kind of numbers i'm putting out.

nice. I ran ghetto pipes too for a while. Get your charge pipes setup and you will notice a big difference.
