Ive been looking a lot into the DIY kits as well and even doing a side mount intercooler just to make the whole system much simpler . Someone help me out and give me some ideas

Re: Budget intercooler piping ideas (DS002)
First, a side mount doesn't necessarily make it easier. I had way more problems running the piping to my sidemount, then if i had just done a front mount. they are a lot cheaper though.
You can use exhaust piping, summit sells 180 degree bends. If you have access to a welder, really easy then. Otherwise, get a bunch of silicone connectors and have at it.

Re: (Laserjock)
Just hit up Tuner Toys,Racing Solutions or LSD Motorsports for one of there DIY piping kits. They are cheap and even if you dont have a welder just cut it and get it ready then go by a muffler shop or buddies house and get it welded. For silicone go by a hose shop, hydrualics place, rig shop etc and they sell silicone hose by the foot
