What do u guys think of running the zex system on 91 prelude 2.1. i have intake hearder exhaust cam gears new clutch and timing belt. i wanna run like a 55 shot should i do it or will the car blow up ohh yea i have 93000 miles i need some good advice

 

i think you can do it, not that bad, i've seen some people run nos on 100k miled cars.

if ur car is in good shape do it 55shot that is
get a minor tuneup - ignition - plugs, rotor, cap, wires
plugs should be a step or 2 colder though

 

i wanna do this **** bad as hell but i heard some horrer stories with nitrous

 

If your car is taken care of you won't have to worry toomuch about it with a 55shot. Plus the zex does all the mixing for you threw their lil box. They just worry about high milage because there is a higher chance to burn your oil rings with higher mileage cars. I say go for it. I have 82k miles on my h22a1 and I am installing mine soon.

 

For just a 55 shot you don't have to do much. First get a compression check and a leakdown test. These will tell you if your engine is in good shape. Second, buy the Zex kit and install it. Thirdly, get NGK copper plugs and make sure that they are one step colder than stock. Only use 92 octane gas. Have fun. Doing a tune up is a good idea also.

 

YEA I DID A TUNE UP ALREADY THATS WHAT I HAVE TO DO A COMPRESSION TEST

Do a compression test and and a leak down test. A shop can do the leak down for you.
