Default greddy install, mil on (searched, no luck) help.....

This past weekend installed a non-ic Greddy on a 98 d16y8, everything went smooth.
On the first drive mil popped on, p0108 map code. Car runs fine other than under boost, high rpm code shows up.

The question I have is with a scan tool hooked up monitoring pids, the map is showing boost??? All wires are correct and soldered. I dont understand I assumed the E-manage would mask the ecu from seeing boost. Any suggestions?

Thanks IZ

what are you running for fuel management? Sounds like your MAP sensor is seeing boost.

The Greddy Emanage

Also should you have to change the position of the switches inside the Emanage box for the intial setup? Even though the kit is for a 96-98 Civic??

sounds like the emanage is hooked up wrong.
it should intercept the map so the ecu never sees boost. if you getting a map code, i dont think this is happening

The Emanage is wired correctly, I agree on it should intercept the map signal.

You guys think if the switches inside (if they were not set properly) the Emanage may cause such symptoms?

Well I talked to Greddy last night and found out that they think the Emanage has a bad program. The Emanage has to be sent back, joy oh joy.
Just thought Id share.
Thanks for the replies,
