voltage clamp with aem fic
Im running the aem fic 30-1911 on my 98 gsr. as soon as i hit 1psi of boost, the car immediately throws a code for map circuit high voltage or something along the lines and the car falls flat on its face and idles at a 10.0 afr until the code is cleared. do i need to adjust my map voltage clamp on the fic, and if so what to? (i have it at 3.54) and if not, what am i doing wrong?
any help is greatly appreciated!

you need to make sure your fic map is setup up for vac, and boost.. what is happening to my understanding is that your leaving vacum and map sensor is freaking out because its not setup to read mbar.
Had the same problem with an obd 2a civic. At the time it was running a greddy emanage piggyback. Three different map sensors later and a lot of time checking wiring/ trying to diagnose faults. I could not find any, so I searched here and found alot of people trying to run boost on obd2 vehicles sometimes encounter this code. In my case I converted to obd1 and Neptune RTP, and the problem went away. OBD 1 just has a lot less codes.

You can watch the voltage input in the FIC logger and see at what voltage the car cuts out at, then lower your voltage clamp to just below this value. Be sure to adjust your FIC fuel and ignition mapping accordingly since your clamping the map sooner your fuel and ignition delivery will be different at that point.
