Default turbo vaccum

I notice that a boost controller is hooked in to the vaccum port on the compresser side of the turbo. I notice that my garrett t3/t4 4bolt does not have that vaccum port. How do I hook up an boost controller if it doesn't have this port?

you can run it off of any vacuum source. It doesn't need to be off of the turbo. I don't know what engine you have, but you can use the cruise control vacuum feed as a source. Also, you have a vacuum line running to your fuel pressure regulator. Just use one of those. Let us know how it goes.

maybe this will help, a vaccum manifold will help keep everthing in place!

So i can run a 3 way T, off the intake manifold and beable to run the bov, boost controller, and wastegate. So Any engine vaccum will work?

The hole on the turbo is a boost source, not a vacuum source. If you don't have one, you can just drill a hole and tap one.

If it is a boost sourse then how does the boost gauge work off vaccum? If i really have to tap the compresser end, can i just tap into the my charge pipes. Its so much harder to tap into a cast iron then a SS pipe.

It doesnt matter where you drill a hole in the entire system. It will be either a boost source, or a vacuum source, but not both. Therefore the hole on the turbo is both a boost and vacuum source, and a good place to tap.... though for a gauge, its best to T one of the vacuum lines comming off the manifold (preferably the brake booster) since theres a loss of air pressure through the intercooler, and any leaks you may have. Using the compressor housing as a vac/boost source would give less accurate numbers.
